    What to Wear and Bring

    What to Wear:

    Comfortable clothing suitable for floor activities, such as sweats, leggings, yoga pants, loose clothing, or a long skirt.

    What to Bring:

    • Pelvis model and baby (available for purchase here)
    • Water bottle
    • Pillow(s)
    • Yoga mat

    Optional Items:

    • Bolster or meditation pillow
    • Birthing ball
    • Peanut ball(s)

    • Combines traditional wisdom with modern knowledge, focusing on the sensory connection between body and baby during pregnancy and birth.

    This includes uploading proof of experience as a childbirth educator or prenatal yoga instructor and attendance verification for your Spinning Babies® 1 or 2-Day Workshop (include instructor’s name, date, and location of the workshop).

    1. Receive Acceptance Email: Once your application is approved, you will receive an email with a link to complete your registration for the training.
    2. Complete Registration: Follow the instructions in your training confirmation email to finalize your registration.

    Application Tips:

    Prepare Your Documents: Before starting your application, ensure you have all necessary documents ready. This includes:

    • Proof of experience as a childbirth educator or prenatal yoga instructor. If applicable, include your certification document. 
    • Attendance verification for the Spinning Babies® workshop you have attended (instructor’s name, date, and location).
    • If not certified, upload a document outlining your teaching history. This should include your experience teaching parents childbirth education classes, duration of teaching, topics covered, and any relevant background information.

    Apply Early: Take advantage of Early Bird pricing and the 6-month payment plan by applying before November 19, 2024.

    Training Price

    Early Bird Registration (until November 19, 2024): $2,976.00

    Save $600 by registering early!
    NEW: 6-month payment plan available during the Early Bird period. Make six equal monthly payments of $496.

    Regular Registration (November 20, 2024 – March 12, 2025): $3,576.00

    Important: There are only 26 seats available for this training, and they are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Secure your spot by completing the application and registration process promptly.

    Cancellation Policy

    $200 USD fee for cancellations before November 19, 2024

    $400 USD fee for cancellations before March 11, 2025

    No refunds on or after March 12, 2025

    Equity Seat

    We offer Equity Seats for childbirth educators of color.

    You will receive a link to apply for the Equity Seat in your Application Acceptance email. You do not have to pay to apply. The deadline to submit your Equity Seat application is November 19, 2024. After reviewing the applications, an email will be sent to all applicants with the results no later than November 26, 2024.

    If you are selected as the Equity Seat recipient, you will have one week to verify your acceptance before the next recipient is chosen.

    What to Expect After the Training

    Provisional Educator Period

    • Designation as a Spinning Babies® Provisional Parent Educator.
    • Teach three Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Classes and submit parent evaluations to complete your certification.

    Certification Benefits
