Kate Nickerson is a pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapist and specializes in perinatal care. She is passionate about working with individuals during pregnancy and postpartum to manage symptoms, prepare for birth, and optimize recovery following. Kate has been a physical therapist for over 25 years. Through her many years of training and experience Kate has developed an integrative, holistic, whole body wellness approach to treatment. Integrating Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner techniques allows her to help encourage optimum balance in the body for a positive birth outcome and work with those with a breech presentation. Kate’s focus is on incorporating specialized manual therapy techniques, Spinning Babies®, extensive patient education, biofeedback, mindfulness training, and individualized exercises to correct muscle imbalances and optimize movement patterns. She strives to address the root cause of each issue and promote optimum preparation for childbirth, healing of the body and a return to vibrant health and vitality.
