Christina is a Licensed Midwife, Clinical Bodyworker, and Natural Birth Coach, specializing in VBAC and Breech. She is a fierce advocate of physiologic, natural birth, and of using holistic methods to restore balance in the body, mind and soul of the birthing person. Her clients want the expertise of a women’s healthcare provider and the sensitivity of a bodyworker to help them restore alignment, balance, and connection between mother and baby during pregnancy and in labor so that the natural process can continue with more ease and pleasure. Breech clients who work with Christina may find ease with an upcoming ECV, eliminate the need for an ECV or undesired cesarean for ‘malposition’, or receive help finding a Breech provider in their area. VBAC Clients increase their likelihood of a safe, vaginal birth by resolving alignment issues in the womb and pelvis, addressing surgical scar tissue inside the body, and encouraging the baby to find the best position for labor. All of this eases the load on the uterus during labor contractions. Labor, in turn, is less painful and more smooth and efficient, so the focus can stay on nurturing the mother-baby connection. Christina offers individualized care in her office in the Methow Valley and worldwide over the phone and by video-call, and is available to work hands-on with clients in the Seattle area. Local homebirth midwifery clients receive specialized bodywork integrated into their prenatal, labor, and postpartum care, as do local VBAC clients who wish to give birth in the hospital. Supporting natural childbirth is the center of Christina’s practice, and this naturally extends to supporting fertility clients to enhance their ability to conceive and helping women restore pelvic health who are experiencing symptoms of organ prolapse after childbirth, during menopause, and later in life.
