Angela Daniel is a certified DONA International doula and has been serving birthing families since 2010. She is also a certified childbirth educator through ICEA and a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Healthy Children’s Project. Angela holds a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville. She maintains a practice working with families in the Gainesville, Florida area. Angela is actively involved in the birthing community, working to increase awareness and access to doulas, and improve relationships with other birth professionals, and administrators. Since moving to Florida, she has served on several committees and groups focused on pulling together birth professionals working toward enhancing doula services, increasing utilization of the doula coverage by Medicaid, as well as increasing access and awareness of the benefits of doula support.
