Here are a few Spinning Babies® ideas to help take the edge off of morning sickness:
Find a chiropractor who is a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner (SpBAP). If there is not a SpBAP close to you, find a Chiropractor trained in the Webster Technique (all are trained in prenatal care, but some go the extra mile with additional training). A Chiropractor or Osteopath can help align your spine, which helps your nervous system work optimally. Plus, you’ll feel like a million bucks after a good adjustment! For now, bringing balance to your spine and pelvis can actually help ease nausea. As you see your Chiropractor throughout pregnancy, adjustments may help relieve back, neck, and pelvic pain, while also bringing balance to your body that can reduce labor time.

The heart is already beating and pumping blood, sending the first signals up the early spinal cord structure to direct the beginning of brain formation.

Unless you conceived through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or this is a high-risk pregnancy, many care providers wait to schedule the first prenatal appointment until 10 weeks. The wait may be tough, so in the meantime, take extra good care of yourself with plenty of rest.
