Felisa (she/her/ella) is a Chicana indigenous partera (midwife), bodyworker, and medicine woman based in Tonkawa territory (among other tribes) in Central Texas. She has been a birthworker since 2013 after the empowering home birth of her daughter in 2012 and has practiced as a licensed midwife in Texas since 2020. She honors the womb and its waters as the first home. She gently encourages embodiment and re-membering with loving touch and education during her sessions.
