We provide online and in-person childbirth education that supports more comfort in pregnancy and ease in birth. Recognized worldwide, our team of Approved Trainers and Certified Parent Educators are teaching the Spinning Babies approach in over 50 countries.

Spinning Babies® Training Programs Director

The Training Programs Director position is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role at Spinning Babies® directing our educational programs for birth workers, childbirth educators, and bodyworkers. If you are an experienced leader in education for birth professionals, a caring and diplomatic communicator with strong organizational acumen, this position provides a challenging next step for your career. Duties & Responsibilities:

Program Development

  • Program and curriculum development with Spinning Babies® Creator, Gail Tully
  • Develop support materials for the program members and their students/clients
  • Develop and implement recertification process
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of materials across all programs
  • Ongoing assessment of programs

Community Support

  • Support the Spinning Babies® Approved Trainers, Certified Parent Educators, and Aware Practitioners with formalized processes, policies, and materials
  • Lead ongoing communication, engagement, and education for members of each of the three programs
  • Assess the needs of our members and resolve issues
  • Schedule and facilitate web-based meetings with our international community of trainers and educators
  • Moderate social media groups

Operational Responsibilities

  • Maintain the quality of the programs
  • Coordinate all aspects of in-person trainings
  • Plan and execute budgets for each program

Potential for teaching, training and travel

Qualifications:

  • Experience in educational program administration
  • Program design and development
  • Project management
  • Connect the big picture to our daily program needs
  • Experience training or teaching childbirth educators or other birth professionals
  • Community-building experience, including reducing disparities
  • Tech-savvy

Schedule/Availability:

  • Full Time
  • Monday – Friday
  • Based in Minneapolis, MN.

Applicants in the Twin Cities area preferred.
