Resolving Fetal Malposition in Labor with Spinning Babies
Presented by MultiCare Childbirth and Family Education.
This 4-hour workshop is theory with two hands-on techniques.
Q. How is it different from the 8-hour Labor In-Depth with Spinning Babies on October 6th?
A: The 8-hour Labor In-depth workshop offered on Oct 6th includes hands-on techniques and practice for each pelvic level and various labor situations.
This workshop is for L&D nurses, midwives, obstetricians, and family medicine doctors, who work with birthing families.
Learn how to encourage and support laboring parents having easier labors by using the Spinning Babies approach through the Three Principles of Spinning Babies are: Balance, Gravity and Movement.
Spinning Babies promotes labor progress during labor by using techniques that help lengthen and balance the pelvic ligaments and muscles that support the pregnant uterus and pelvis. We relate pelvic alignment and mobility to an easier and shorter birth. Spinning Babies gives your work greater success a new look at birth rotation. You will practice techniques and an approach to solutions for when labor stalls due to lack of engagement, a cervical lip or transverse arrest.
